It depends on how big the site is going to be. Generally speaking, it will take anywhere from 1-2 months. If you are looking for brand design with your website, then it will take around 4 months. I book projects a month in advance if I am not completely booked for that month.

I wrote a more in-depth blog post on Why Squarespace? that you can read here. The sparknotes version is that it's a wallet-friendly investment that has a user-friendly interface with built-in security so you as a small business owner, don't have to do major upkeep.

Yes! Fortunately, a lot of third-party integration is available in Squarespace. If your third-party app is not available to integrate directly in Squarespace, we may have to look at a platform like Zapier in order to connect them seamlessly.

Once the web design is developed and launched, you have complete ownership of the site. I will transfer the site's ownership to you.

Squarespace fits anyone's budget ranging from 4 different plans where you are able to pay annually or monthly. You can find more detail on which each Squarespace packages include here. If you choose to book with me, you will need the business plan.

At first, yes. The Squarespace platform does support importing content from other website hosting platforms like WordPress. If you choose to work with me and are switching platforms, I will create redirects from the old pages to your current Squarespace site to it's respective pages to minimize search engine optimization impact.

The investment you see above is on web design and strategy. The additional costs that you will incur are your domain name (if you don't already have one), website hosting (if you don't already have a Squarespace plan), stock imagery (while I try my best to outsource free ones, we sometimes need to purchase paid ones in order to be on brand), copywriting (while I have DIY copy prompts made by a copywriter, you may want to outsource a copywriter yourself so you don't do any writing).

While I build websites with search engine optimization in mind. Search engine optimization is a long-haul digital marketing effort. While I do the on-site optimization, there are many moving parts like off-page and technical search engine optimization. Websites can rank high on Google but it doesn't always stay in that spot forever. If you're looking for a search engine optimization consultant, I am happy to refer you to one!

As a Squarespace web designer that specializes in human-centred design, implementing accessibility to all websites is important. Accessible websites mean that any low-vision, motor-impaired, visually-impaired users are able to use your website. Websites that are ADA compliant include proper website structure for screen readers, colours and text that are legible, keyboard structures and more. Websites that are not accessible may face a lawsuit if a disability claims they cannot access your website.
